KUMIHIMO-JAPANESE BRAIDS

I have been wanting to try braiding for some time now,  making Kumihimo braid.
Kumihimo is a Japanese form of braid-making. Rattail cords, nylon jewelry cords, ribbons and Japanese seed beads are made by interlacing strands.

I followed the usual procedure by googling and reading everything I could to educate myself, visiting the local library (books & magazines) and purchasing products ……and a lot of practice.
