Ombré Color Inspired

I’ve been wanting to get into DIY paint canvas projects for quite some time now.  However, I have no drawing nor coloring training so when it comes to that sort of thing, I’m completely lost.  Luckily, with Pinterest, Google images, and those  “drawing and color 101” lessons from the internet, I’m able to take ideas from there and turn them into my own.  The Ombre trend is something I am wanting to try with right now.

1. Prime the canvas 2 coats and let air dry for few hours

2. Painted each pure color on opposite ends and then gradually add more or less paint eventually getting to the middle with an even blend of Cadmium-Yellow Hue and Cadmium-Red Hue.  This method helped me to space the gradient out evenly.

3. Paint the tree or if you like me…can’t draw so I use pencil out line the tree and then paint over

4. Punch a lot of butterflies

5. Then glue
